As the Greek energy market evolves, there's a pressing need for restructuring to accommodate a surge in a new RES portfolio with extensive solar and wind power, interconnections, along with new applications such as offshore wind and green hydrogen. This new portfolio will drive investments towards a net-zero era while prioritizing ESG principles and fostering a just transition in lignite areas. Innovation hubs and initiatives further catalyze decarbonization efforts, shaping a sustainable energy future for Greece.
