Στις 20 Οκτωβρίου πραγματοποιήθηκε, μέσω της πλατφόρμας Zoom, η διαδικτυακή συνάντηση εργασίας του έργου C-Track 50 με θέμα «Υποστήριξη δήμων στο σχεδιασμό και υλοποίηση μακροπρόθεσμων δράσεων για την ενέργεια και το κλίμα». Αυτή η συνάντηση στέφθηκε με μεγάλη επιτυχία δεδομένου ότι συμμετείχαν περισσότερα από 50 άτομα, με εκπροσώπους από περισσότερους των 30 δήμων. Η βασική θεματολογία της συνάντησης σχετιζόταν με το χρηματοδοτικό και ρυθμιστικό πλαίσιο του σχεδιασμού για την ενέργεια και το κλίμα, καθώς και με τη συζήτηση μέτρων στα πλαίσια αυτού του σχεδιασμού σε επίπεδο δήμων.

•                     Agriculture Initiative (Increasing Agricultural Climate Action & Ambition)

The Kick-Off of the H2020 Search & Rescue (S&R) project officially took place on 21-22 July 2020. The meeting, which took place remotely and gathered 85 registered participants from 28 organisations across Europe, gave S&R partners the opportunity to meet and present their work plan for the initial phase of the project.

The European Union has set targets for renewable energy sources to make up at least 32% of the energy mix, and for energy savings to reach 32.5%, by 2030. Greece must now design and implement policies and measures in line with these targets.

However, these policies must promote a “just transition” and be socially accepted in order to be effective and robust. Ideally, citizens should take part in the selection of these policies, by being informed and expressing their preferences on the available options.
