New EU project promotes the Clean Energy Transition with smart energy services and innovative business models

The new LIFE project “Innovative Energy (Efficiency) Service Models for Sector Integration via Blockchain” (INEEXS) will meet the European Green Deal principles by adopting and validating in real world conditions integrated energy services across sectors and carriers, and the tokenization of energy saving data in a public blockchain. The aim is to enable automated, accurate, fast and smart solutions, facilitate trust and integrate sectors.

i-STENTORE Kick-off: setting energy storage technologies on the spotlight!

A consortium composed of 27 partners from 10 different countries, have joined forces in a collaborative effort to lead the i-STENTORE project, aiming to examine innovative energy storage systems and their co-operation with the integrated assets, placing the reliability, the power quality, the cost-efficient operation and the maximization of the assets’ lifetime as end-goals.

Regio1st - kick-off meeting

We are very excited to announce that #REGIO1ST, co-funded by the European Union has been launched. The kick-off meeting took place on 15-16th of November in Brussels and trepresentatives of ICCS (EPU-NTUA)) and 9 more partners of the consortium worked together toaddress the EU Energy Efficiency First (EE1st) principle in Regional and Local Energy and Climate planning.

The overarching aim of #REGIO1ST is to raise awareness about the EE1ST principle among regional governments and their agencies and support them to make related decisions in their planning.

Event on the Elimination of Gender Violence in the Higher Education Institutions

The Gender Equality Committee of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), in collaboration with the CALIPER – Gender Equality in STEM Research Project of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineers - NTUA, are organizing, on Tuesday the 13th of December 2022, 18.00 – 20.00, an event on the Elimination of Gender Violence in the Higher Education Institutions.

The INEEXS project kicked off on the 21-22 November 2022 in Brussels!

The core concept of the Life project INNEXS is the deployment of integrated energy services across sectors and carriers, and the tokenization of energy saving data in a public blockchain  to facilitate cooperation among market segments and actors.

 

InEExS improves the implementation of EED Art7 and supports Obligated Parties (EED, Art7) to provide integrated service offers that enable energy savings, system efficiency and include non-energy benefits.

Enershare

On November 9-10, the consortium of Enershare project convene in Lisbon for its 2nd project meeting. The main objective of EnerShare is to develop and deploy the first of its kind Common European Energy Data Space Reference Implementation and provide data-driven services to enable a consumer-centric participatory data-driven energy system. Enershare will accelerate the digitalisation of the energy sector, through the upscale of a variety of technological building blocks, including interoperability, trust, data value and governance.
